I’m really happy now because my midterms are finally over! Well, there is still Maths in a few weeks but we’ll get to that later.
It’s the same thing every semester. It starts; we play for the first few weeks and then really start our engines when midterms come. Every start of the semester I would tell myself ‘alright girl, this sem you’re going to be on your best study behavior! No more procrastination.’ Sadly, that is never accomplished. I am Miss Procrastinator after all. It is something that I do best with little effort.
Midterms started two weeks ago with Marketing and English and ended this week with Economics and Computing Tech. Some were fairly easy while others were fairly tough. As always, my target for certain subjects are high while for others; half would do. Subjects like English would be my strong point, if I can say so myself, so I am expecting myself to do fairly well. Unless the events of last semester were to repeat itself then I do not know.
I can honestly tell you that Economics absolutely hates me. I dreaded that subject in sem1 and it was the only subject that I got a B in during the finals. I thought I won’t have to see it anymore but boy; was I wrong. I don’t really understand Economics very much but I am trying my best to. Marketing, it takes some common sense, in my opinion, but it also mostly relies on memorizing; something which is so not my forte. Even in school, I don’t memorise my Moral values until SPM came.
Anyways, midterms are over and I am looking forward to a relaxing weekend back home with my friends. Even my housemates are going home this weekend and I am happy for them because they live quite far away and only go home during sem break. So this is like a real treat for them, I’m glad they got to go back in the middle of the semester.
But, first things first! Sleep.
