Last night, after having a group discussion for our English assignment; I was feeling bored so I asked two of my good buddies out for a walk around our housing area. However, one of them wanted to eat so we accompanied her out for a really late dinner. We chatted, talked and laughed the hour away and I was so happy that I called them out instead of being in my room facing four walls and a screen.
After her dinner, we were headed back when she got a call from our classmates asking her if she wanted to join them for a horror movie night. You have no idea how happy she was when she heard that it was horror movies that they were going to watch.
‘wanna watch?’
Me and another friend was dumbfounded hearing about horror movie. You see, the both of us aren’t really horror movie fans. I personally do not have good experiences watching horror shows and when I get to bed or am alone. Once when I was 10, I watched a show called Dark Water on a bus ride back from KL and I had nightmares for a really long period of time. I got so paranoid that I didn’t even dared to bathe too late when the sky was already dark.
Anyways, back to our movie night. We started with a thriller and man; it was one of the most senseless movies I have ever seen. I mean, usually thrillers have a plot as in why is that person killing others off like a mad man. But that movie, I could see no point of that mad man wanting to kill off the couple. I was trying to figure it out but I gave up when the movie ended with a cliff.
Then, we had a break for a while and we continued with a horror movie. Of all the shows, they chose The Sixth Sense. I haven’t watched that show before but I know that it’s really scary. Reluctantly, I sat through the whole show. But, that show is really nice though I was quite freaked out by it at the end. (that kid is so cute!!)
I slept at 3am last night but it was worth it despite the fact that I was freaked out and paranoid until this morning.
Let’s do it again sometime. ^_^
