99 !!!!! ^^

I’ve finally reached my 99th post! It’s been a little short of a year and I’m already almost at my 100th! This can only mean one thing- I am such a procrastinator! Seriously! Like every time I have nothing to do, I come by here and drop a few lines (or paragraphs) and then I’m on my way. It’s a pretty nice thing to do, though it may be a bit time consuming. It also gives me a place to write. As you know, I don’t get to write very often now that I’m in college. The most I write is for assignments and exams, and the occasional lecture exercise which I doubt anybody else in my class takes it seriously and write properly. I don’t even take it seriously. Seriously man, where is that lady slave driver of a single lady teacher when she is needed?! Somebody needs to knock some sense into some of my classmates who, might I share some info with you, take the language very lightly. I wonder what they got for their finals?

Since it’s the 99th post, this is a tribute to 9 special girls (ladies?) haha. You can leave now if you don’t want to read further. I don’t’ blame you.

They are, by far, the funniest people I have ever seen, though I haven’t really ‘seen’ them in person yet. The stuff they do is just really cute and dorky at the same time. Mistakes are just part and parcel of them. It’s really funny, especially that time when Taeyeon’s lollipop flew off the stick during a Kissing You performance. The expression on her face was priceless.

Since debuting in 2007, the girls had had success in doing various activities, such as variety shows, dramas, commercial films and soundtracks for dramas. Some of the examples for the OSTs sung would be Taeyeon’s IF (Hong Gil Dong) and Can You Hear Me..(Beethoven Virus), Tiffany’s By Myself (Ja Myung Go) and Sunny’s Your Doll ( Oh! My Lady). Yoona, who was awarded best new actress award (2009) for her role in You’re My Destiny during the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards, co-starred in another drama with Kwon Sang Woo called Cinderella Man.

It is every fan’s dream to meet their idols and stars. SONEs got their wish granted in 2009 when the girls announced that they were to hold their first ever solo concert at the end of the year. SONEs around the world were really excited about it. Their concert in South Korea would mark the starting point of their Asian Tour. Everybody wanted to get tickets to their concert! You wouldn’t believe their popularity! Tickets to their first concert were sold out within 3minutes!

(this episode is a summary of the girls' first concert, check out more on YT)

Now, the girls are currently busy with their Japanese promotion. They debuted in the Japanese market earlier this month with their hit song, Genie. In October, they’re going to release their 2nd Japanese single, Gee. I’m so excited, though I might never get my hands on a copy of both albums.

It’s awesome being a SONE. ^^
