Lessons

I've realised that there are somethings that we learn as we go along in life. We learn and establish a basic set of guidelines we live by on our own, may it be a good set, an average one or a down right wrong one. Who is it to judge your set? Nobody has the right to do that because nobody will understand the reasons behind your actions and also the meaning behind them more than yourself.

Others may critisise you for doing the things you do but fret not, it's called being an individual. GO ahead and do whatever it is that you want and like. Nobody has the right to judge you based on your actions. Not even parents have the rights to judge their children because children are individuals who have their own special point of view in daily life.

Like everybody else, I too have my own basic set. I try to follow them even though I know that I might not be able to all the time. It's the thought that counts, right? Like for instance, I try not to force a new idea onto other people. This is something I've experienced over the years and forcing never brings good results. Share those ideas instead. By sharing, I hope to let the other party know that I'm totally ok if he/she rejects the idea hands down or accepts it. It's also called giving others a choice.

For me, I put satisfaction first before anything else when it comes to purchasing things like food or products. Why be frugal and be miserable with the things you have when you can get something better at slightly higher price but be really satisfied with it? To me, it doesn't make any sense at all, to be not willing to spend for your own satisfaction. If you see the way I spend, you might be thinking 'man, this kid is a real big spender.' News flash people, I'm not. I'm a person who is willing to spend, there is a big difference between the two.

All in all, life is a learning experience. Right? We learn as we go, set our own benchmarks, achieve them and leave. Life can be really simple at times, yet complex. I'm just a kid, what would I know? I only know that, life is a wonderful yet merciless teacher who never fails to teach us new things.
